Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve detection precision while expanding an operating range by canceling an influence of an input current on a current detector by increasing and supplying the output signal of the detector to an input side through a negative feedback loop.
CONSTITUTION: Once input current i1 flows through input windings 3 and 4, output voltage Δe is developed across current detector 20. This voltage Δe is amplified by amplifier 30 and applied to feedback windings 31 and 32 to flow current i0. When feedback current i0 is not flowed, a balance is kept at point (b), but when current i0 is flowed, it flows so that calcel magnetomotive force of input current i1, and a balance is kept at point (a) where voltage Δe is at a minimum. Flowing feedback current i0 through output resistance 33 develops output voltage e0 in proportion to input current i1. An operating point is constant at (a) all the time without reference to the magnitude of input current i1, so that high precision can be obtained.
