Abstract

PURPOSE: To make adjustment easy even in a small output region by providing such a means as to make the change ratio of the detection signal for the output in a feedback circuit larger at the small output time than at the large output time.
CONSTITUTION: This welding power source circuit is constituted by a cable 10 in which AC circuit current I flows, a current transformer 11 which induces the current approximately proportional to the current in the cable 10, a diode 12 which rectifies the detection signal connected to a bridge and a voltage drop e1 proportional to the current of the current detecting circuit. Particularly, a non-linear type element 16, such as diode, is connected in series to a resistance 13 between the output ends of the rectifying circuit by the diode 12. If the circuit is made to the above constitution, the secondary output voltage of the current transformer 11 overcomes the forward voltage drop of the element 16. Hence, in the low output region where sufficient secondary current does not flow, the change rate of the detection voltage e2 for the circuit current I becomes larger than the large output region. Namely, in the region where output current and output voltage are small, the change in the output for the change of a reference voltage may be made small and the adjustment for the current or voltage of the small output region requiring fine adjustment becomes easy.
