Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain an anisotropic magnet with excellent property compared to a resin binder used product by a method wherein fine powder obtained by grinding an anisotropic Mn-Al-C type alloy magnet is used as a main component and an element with a low m.p. is added to the said component and, thereafter sintering is carried out at a predetermined temperature.
CONSTITUTION: Fine powder of about 100μ itself being already rendered anisotropic obrained by grinding an anisotropy imparted Mn-Al-C type alloy magnet is used as a main component and, to this component, an element with a low m.p., for example, P, S is added. As a result, is obtained an anisotropic magnet which can be remolded to an optional shape and size by sintering at a temperature of about 650°C below metastable phase which is a ferromagnetic phase of the said magnet and, at the same time, shows excellent property as same volume owing to good filling efficiency without using a large amount of resin such as a resin magnet.
