Abstract

PURPOSE: To impart superior anisotropy by pressure-molding the mixed fine powder of magnetic fine powder and granulated powder in the direction rectangular to the axis in a rubber press method.
CONSTITUTION: The fine powder mixture of the plate-form particles comprising adding granulated powder of 10W30 mesh at 20W40% to magnetic fine powder of, for example, 1W2μ, is used as powder material. A partition barrel 4 composed of elastic material such as rubber is closely provided in the central part of a pressure vessel 1. A core rod 7 is disposed in the outside barrel 6 and the powder material is packed in the molding barrel 5 which is sealed at the top and bottom by plugs 8 and this is mounted into the partition barrel 5. Next, pressing oil 2 is injected into the vessel 1 through an injection port 3 and the powder material is pressure- molded by way of the outside barrel 6 in the direction rectangular to the axis, whereby the hollow anisotropic magnet is obtained. This increases the surface magnetic flux density and improves the performance by about 10W20%, thus enabling the obtaining of the magnet which is reduced by about 50% in its axial surface magnetic flux density difference.
