Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain an anisotropic magnet with a predetermined shape and size in a low cost by a method wherein an anisotropy imparted Mn-Al-C type alloy magnet which has a wire or a plate like shape of below 5mmϕ made by continuous warm extrusion is ground and obtained powder is remolded to a predetermined shape.
CONSTITUTION: In case of imparting anisotropy to a Mn-Al-C type alloy magnet by a warm plastic process (extrusion process), the said magnet is processed to prepare a wire or a plate like shape of below 5mmϕ and this processed magnet is ground to prepare a powder of about 100μ and, thereafter remolded to a predetermined shape. By this method, an anisotropic magnet having a predetermined shape and large size of which a direction of magnetic field is oriented to a same direction is obtained in a low cost by reducing an installation cost, a grinding cost or the like without requring a conventional large press as well as grinding to fine particles of about 1μ as in case of a ferrite magnet and using high price cobalt or the like.
