Abstract

Hereupon, the mills 5, 6, become possible to roll the horizontal flanges with the horizontal rolls. And the extremely wide H-beam 1 with the flange length longer than the web length can be obtained from the rough shaped billet 4, without permitting the retention of cooling water on the flange of billet 4.
