Abstract

PURPOSE: To allow a valve disc to be driven efficiently by means of a motor having small output by allowing the valve disc to be moved directly up and down through the revolution of the motor.
CONSTITUTION: Fluid flows in the direction of arrow P, passing through a passage 2, and through the detection of this flow rate and the reception of signal for suitability, a proper current flows in a stator coil 9, and a valve disc 6 is moved up and down as shown by the arrow a or b, and thus the flow rate is controlled by the increase or decrease of the gap between the valve disc 6 and a valve seat 3. In this case, the revolution of a rotor 7 is converted to a vertical linear motion through a screw bearing 4 which supports the rotor 7. As each center of magnetism of the rotor 7 and the stator 8 deviates by 1 in valve closing, if the stator coil 9 is brought into conduction in valve opening, the rotor 7 is attracted in the direction of arrow a by the magnetic attractive force of the rotor 7 and the stator 8, so the pressure which was applied to the screw shaft 4 when the valve disc was closed, is reduced by the force in the direction of arrow a, and the rotor can be started lightly.
