Abstract

PURPOSE: To attain a control of pressure in high accuracy of a valve for controlling the pressure on the fluid outlet port side in proportion to an electric signal by constituting a magnetic bearing from a movable magnet and a fixed magnet so that the movable magnet may be moved in an axial direction without a frictional contact between them.
CONSTITUTION: If an exciting coil 32 is energized, a magnetic force is generated at a face of a fixed iron core 29 facing a movable magnet 27 and a force Fa originating from a fixed magnet 30 and acting on a valve body 24 is reduced gradually and finally to zero as the magnitude of the electric current flowing through the exciting coil 32 increases. If the electric current increases further, the force Fa changes into a repulsive force to open a valve and such opening of the valve increases in proportion to the electric current. In the meantime, the movable magnet 27 is subject to a repulsive force in an axial direction and in radial direction by the magnetic force generated by the electric current, but the repulsive force in radial directions is maintained balanced since the movable magnet 27 is held in conformity with an axis thereof by an action between the fixed and movable magnets 30 and 27, that is, a magnetic bearing mechanism. Thus, the movable magnet 27 is always held in conformity with the axis thereof.
