Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain inexpensive fluorescent lamp for cold space with high brightness and without fractuation of brightness in the fluorescent lamp used for the illumination of cold space such as refrigerated or cooled show case and the like. CONSTITUTION:Fluorescent lamp for cold space is constituted by arranging transparent laminated sheet consisting of mainly plastic film laminated with metal and/or thin film of metal in direct contact with the outer surface of fluorescent lamp or with interposed space of layer of the air. In this case, thin film of more than one kind of metal selected from the group of gold, silver, copper, vanadium and aluminume and/or thin film of oxided metal of I n2o3 and the like is used. Polyestel resin and others are used as said plastic film. Said sheet 2 is arranged in connection with fluorescent lamp directly or at the position interposed with layer of the air. According to this method, the temperature at outer surface of fluorescent lamp 1 is increased by the arrangement of said sheet 2 and it is possible to achieve desired purpose.
