Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a selective light permeative film in the glass plate constituting a window thereby to obtain the energy-saving window.
CONSTITUTION: A selective light permeative film prepared by laminating on at least one side of a transparent organic film a film layer of a high refractive index and a metal film layer is provided on the surface of a transparent plate. For the transparent organic film, a biaxially drawn film of polyethylene terephtalate having more than 60% visible light permeability. The high refractive index film layer has more than 1.6 of refractive index and is constituted by titanium dioxide, bismuth oxide and the like. For the metal film layer, there is used gold, silver, copper or an alloy thereof or a mixture thereof. By this constitution, the film has high heat insulation, transparency and the like, and is difficult to dew. Accordingly, the energy- saving can be attained.
