Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish slow running with a reduced revolution speed of the engine idling through control of the speed as specified to a normal value to a target level set variably according to the temperature of the engine cooling water, air conditioning or the like.
CONSTITUTION: When the parking brake is actuated, a switch 30 is closed and current flows through a brake lamp 31 and a brake switch 30 from a battery B to turn on the lamp 31. At the same time, a point f at one end of the brake switch 30 is grounded so that voltage which biases a transistor 34 through resistance 32 and 33 from a constant voltage line 10 passes to the earth, making the transistor non-conductive. The voltage at point a is refused to pass to the earth through a resistance 35 and a diode 36 while the voltage at a point e is refused to pass to the earth. In this manner, there is no alteration in the first and second target revolution speeds n1 and n2.
