Abstract

PURPOSE:To compensate the shift of the printing point upon the speed variation of a recording member thereby to improve the image quality by moving an injecting head to and from the recording member so that the injecting speed of ink droplets may be varied. CONSTITUTION:The speed of the surface of a recording member is detected by a speed detector 2 to generate detecting signals. These signals are fed to a speed variation detecting circuit 3 to calculate the speed variation so that the speed variation detecting signals are generated only when there is variations in the speed. The speed variation detecting signals are fed to a pulse circuit 4 so that a pulse voltage having an intensity according to the intensity of the speed variation detecting signals is fed in synchronism with the ink injection. When the tangential speed of the recording member 1 is varied from Vs to Vs + Vs, the injecting speed of ink droplets is changed from V to V + V by moving an injecting head 6 to the recording member 1 with the use of the electrostrictive vibrator 7, thus compensating the shift of the printing point.
