Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the titled recorder capable of obtaining a constantly fixed deflection amount and suitable for printing those pictures which require a strict printing precision and for color printing, while said recorder being provided with means for detecting the flow velocity of ink and compensating for the difference between the detected flow velocity and a reference flow velocity. CONSTITUTION:The flow velocity of the ink jetted from a nozzle 10 is detected by the detecting means 11, the detected signal being amplified by a buffer amplifier 12 and inputted into a comparator 14. The detected value of the flow velocity is compared with the reference value fed from a reference-voltage generator 13. When there is a difference between the two values being compared, the pressure of an ink pump 15 is changed to change the flow velocity of the ink so as to compensate for the difference, thereby maintaining a constantly fixed flow velocity. A pressure- sensitive element 17 can be used as the detecting means 11 for detecting the flow velocity of the ink. The deflection amount can be maintained at a fixed value also by changing the voltage for charging ink droplets in accordance with the flow velocity of the ink.
