CONSTITUTION:The phase of the oscillated frequency of srystal oscillator 5 and that of the output frequency of programmable counter 4 are compared with each other, and phase lock loop PLL is constituted by phase comparator 1 LPF2 voltage control oscillator 3 programmable counter 4 phase comparator 1. In this constitution, when the oscillated frequency of VCO3 is f and the frequency division ratio of programmable counter 4 is N, oscillated frequency f0 of crystal oscillator 5 makes f=Nf0 by PLL. When frequency division ratio N is controlled by the modulation signal, a high-stability frequency modulation signal can be obtained if the response speed of PLL is adequately higher than the change speed of the modulation signal.
