Abstract

PURPOSE: For reducing noise, to section an empty chamber into high and low pressure chambers with the rotary member fixed on the rotor shaft to be driven, said rotary member being placed in said empty chamber.
CONSTITUTION: Gas is discharged four times per revolution of a male rotor 6 having four teeth. At each of said discharge times, the change of gas pressure and the vibration in the thrust direction of said rotor 6 itself are involved. When subjected to the change of gas pressure, on the other hand, a female rotor 9 tends to make fine axial vibration becuase of the small inertia force thereof. However, little of the vibration generated due to the change of gas pressure comes outside since load is previously applied in the thrust direction of said rotor 9. Generated gas pressure depends on running conditions. However, the pressures on the right and left sides of said rotary plate 14 changes automatically and accordingly and the pressure of said rotary plate 14 against said load becomes constant. Therefore, steady action can be made at a wide operational range.
