Abstract

PURPOSE: To avoid an oversupply of NH3 by calculating the mean value of the concn. of NOx in exhaust gas; picking out the negative value of the difference between the concn. of NOx at the time of denitration and the mean value; adding the negative value to the mean value; and using the added value as an NH3 injection setting value.
CONSTITUTION: The concn. of NOx in exhaust gas to be denitrated is previously detected for a fixed time, and the mean value is calculated. The concn. of NOx in exhaust gas entering denitrator C from flue A is detected with detector 1, and the negative value of the difference between the value and the mean value is picked out and added to the mean value. This signal is sent to setting value generation circuit 2 to actuate NH3 injection amt. regulation meter 8, NH3 injection amt. regulator 9 and NH3 injection amt. operation valve 10, thus injecting NH3 into flue A from NH3 injector B while controlling the injection amt. By this method a fluctuation in denitration rate is minimized, and discharge of unreacted NH3 is reduced, thereby solving a problem about high cost due to injection of excess NH3.
