Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify the constitution of semiconductor switch control circuit, by using the negative resistance element which can flow current at the applied voltage lower than a value but does not flow current at the voltage higher than a value.
CONSTITUTION: When AC voltage is fed between the terminal AC1 and AC2, the voltage rectified with diodes D2 to D5 is applied to the negative resistance element A. Further, the element A consists of the NPN transistor TR1, two P channel J- FET1 and FET2 and photo vafiable resistor element PC, and it is conductive when the voltage fed between the terminals A1 and A2 is low and not conductive if it higher, acting like the detection element near zero voltage of AC voltage. When the LED photo coupled to the element pC is illuminated, the element PC is at l low resistance and the element A is operative. One of SCR's is triggered with the gate G1 or G2 of SCRFR1 and FR2 in anti-parallel connection. Accordingly, current flows to the load between the terminals AC1 and AC2. Thus, the control circuit of a simple circuit constitution can be established.
