Under this connection state, a short circuit is given within TSTT to the channel between terminal LT and TRK to carry out the continuity test through the fact whether relay A operates to all channels with the above short circuit. This test is carried out automatically under the program control with every change of the selection of terminal TL or trunk TRK containing relay A. Thus, an automatic and high-speed continuity test can be given between all line terminals and the trunk terminals.
