Abstract
PURPOSE: To make possible dose measurement of good accuracy by enabling comparison voltage setting of a discriminator of the case when a photon counting method is used to be readily performed.
CONSTITUTION: Pulses having been discriminated and shaped by a discriminator 9 are counted by a counter 11 which is controlled by a clock generator 12. The clocks of the clock generator 12 are encoded 14 and renew the input of a D-A converter 10 at scan mode thereby scanning the comparison voltage of the discriminator 9 subsequently stepwise. The differentiation count values of each channel having been temporarily stored in a register 13 are writen in a memory 15 during the next counting period of the counter 11. If the count values having been stored are read out and the differences in the count values from the adjoining channels are inputted to the Y axis of a display 16 and the addresses are decoded and are inputted to the X axis, then the pulse height distribution curves are displayed. Thereby, the optimum comparison voltage of the discriminated 9 is set.
