Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce installation space by vertically (in tandem) arranging a breaker unit especially requiring large space in the UHV system. CONSTITUTION:The ground tank of a breaker unit 10 in which the breaker section is housed along with insulating gas is vertically arranged. These two breaker units are arranged in parallel and the breaker section of each breaker unit 10 is connected in series by a gas insulation joint bus 11 of which conductor is inserted in the jacket. A bushing 15 consists of the same phase main circuit terminal and the two breaker units 10 are arranged between the bushings 15. Air insulation distance R can be ensured by adjusting the height of a frame rack 16.
