Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a ring bus system gas insulated switchgear easily by constituting two installation faces vertically then placing a switchgear series on each face and connecting both ends of them through a vertically installed gas insulated bus. CONSTITUTION:Two sets of series coupled switchgear unit comprised of a gas circuitbreaker 1 and gas insulated disconnecting switches 2, 3 are provided in parallel then their upper ends are coupled through a gas insulated bus 4. Such U- shaped switchgears are mounted on each of said installation face. While the lower ends of both switchgears are coupled through a vertical gas insulation bus 8 and a bushing 5 is fixed to each unit.
