Abstract
PURPOSE: To quickly restore a line to a proper state if instantaneous cut-off occurs in the line at a position "direct transmission", by supplying voltage outputs to a control circuit through rectifiers and using the higher voltage output as a control power source of the control circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The timed trouble investigator is set insuch a handle position (direct transmission) as to open switches SW4, SW5 and close other switches SW1, SW2, SW3 so that a timer circuit 18 is disconnected and an immediate sectioning switch 14 is turned on by an input selector circuit only. When there is a voltage on the side of a power source, the immcdiate sectioning switch 14 is turned on by a circuit consisting of the switch SW1, a diode D2 and the switch SW2. When there is a voltage on the side of a load, the immediate sectioning switch 14 is turned on by a circuit consisting of the switch SW3, a diode D3 and the switch SW2. A relay X 1 is held for 2 seconds and the sectioning switch 14 is immediately restored and reclosed according to the instantaneous cut-off and restoration of the power even if the instantaneous cut-off takes place on the side of either the power source or the load after the switch 14 is turned on. Thus, the time of power failure in the high voltage distribution line is prevented from being lengthened due to the instantaneous power cut-off even if the timed trouble investigator 17a is in the handle position.
