Abstract

PURPOSE:To control ON or OFF operation of the self-hold type switch circuit by using one timer. CONSTITUTION:When the push button switch 3 is depressed with the timer 4 not set, the power supply V is connected to the relay 1 through the delayed restoration type switch 11. The operation switches 2 and 9 are closed and the power supply V is connected to the relay 1 through the normally closed contact a of the timer switch 6. Accordingly, the relay 1 is self-held to continue the power supply to the load circuit RL. On mains failure, since no power feed is made to the relay 1, the operation switch 29 is OFF to release the self-hold circuit. Thus, no power is fed to the load circuit RL if the push button switch 3 is not depressed at the repower application after the end of power failure.
