Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the formation of local high temperature part in a flame center to control generation of NOx by giving strong gyrating force to combustion air eddy so that its mixture with fuel injection be promoted, and by thus forming a short- lived fast burning flame.
CONSTITUTION: Air guide vane 18 is constructed at a combustion air supply passage to generate air having strong gyrating movement. A narrow straight raw tile 17 of a straight cylinder type with a combustion nozzle 14 inserted inside at good length is set to produce high speed air flow. The narrow formation of a straight cylinder type in a burner tile 17 produces no main reaction area of combustion inside the tile 17, thereby preventing the overheat of inside walls and keeping the flame temperature low. Furthermore, the generation of fast burning flame makes possible low air ratio combustion and the recycle flow in flame center increases the stability of flame.
