Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain three layers clad material putting stainless steel plate between a part of copper plate in metallic combined state, by carrying out butt welding of the copper plate and stainless steel plate in a body and then, carrying out explosive pressure welding of each copper plate from both side.
CONSTITUTION: The copper plate 1b and the stainless steel plate 2 are butted and butt welding of the butted part 3 is carried out by using copper.nickel alloy and then, a single plate is made. After two layers clad plate is made by welding the copper plate 1a on one side face of the above plate by explosive pressure, the copper plate 1 is welded on the other face made of the plate 1b and 2 by explosive pessure. Hereby, the plate 2 is able to put between a part of the plate 1 and three layers clad material carried out pressure welding of the whole face of each layer, is obtained.
