Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a quick exhaustion for preventing the excessive pressure ratio between a low pressure and a high pressure compressor by opening and closing a suction throttle valve and an exhaust valve instantaneously by means of solenoids and spring and minimizing the piping capacity.
CONSTITUTION: A suction throttle valve 6 is connected with the iron core 45 of a solenoid 39, and worked for closing by a spring 36. An exhaust valve 19 is connected with the iron core 46 of a solenoid 40, and a switch 43 is inserted into the electric circuit of the solenoid 40 to be opened and closed under the linkage of a rod 20. Since the solenoid 40 is used for opening the throttle valve 6 and closing the exhaust valve 19, the whole structure can be simplified. Moreover, the operating time of the solenoid is very short and the opening of the throttle valve 6 and the closing of the exhaust valve 19 are mode instantaneously. The pressure variation in a tank 14 is small, and since the exhaust valve 19 and the throttle valve 6 are electrically connected, the piping capacity is reduced and the suction and exhaustion are quickened. Consequently, the pressure ratio between compressors 2 and 3 is lowered.
