Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase developing efficiency, increase image density and achieve improvement by providing a developer agitating member by a non-magnetic material fine wire between a non-magnetic material sleeve and a latent image carrier in parallel in their width direction.
CONSTITUTION: The developer 32 on a non-magnetic material sleeve 31 is bristled by the magnet 33 in the sleeve and make contact to the electrostatic latent image formed on a photoreceptor 34, turning said image to a visible image. When a fine wire 35 of a non-magnetic material is inserted into the ears of this developer 32, the respective ears connectively formed in chain form of particles of the developer 32 are put in contact with the fine wire 35 by the rotation of the sleeve 31, then the ears are collapsed by the mechanical or hydrodynamic force, whereby the agitation of the developer 32 is accomplished. Hence, the region l where the developer 32 contacts the photo detector 34 increases and developing time is prolonged, thus developing efficiency may be enhanced and image density increased through the use of the entire part of the toner.
