Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of heating, by mounting a small size temp detector to the lower side of a branch pipe of a heat exchanger at the outside of a chamber, and by controlling defrosting by the temp.

CONSTITUTION: A small size inversion bimetal type thermostat 12, which is provided with an inversion bimetal 13 molding worked in a plate-like shape and a pin 14 at an upper portion of the center and can simply be installed to a narrow space, is disposed to the lower side of a branch pipe of a heat exchanger at the outside of a chamber. Consequently, when the temp of the inversion bimetal type thermostat 12 becomes not more than set temp and the contact 18 is closed, microswitches 15, 16 are closed by the revolution of a synchronous motor 17, a relay exciting coil 19 is excited, a relay contact 20 is switched to the 20a side, and a control terminal 21 is opened, thus starting defrosting operation; when the temp of the thermostat 12 becomes not less than a fixed temp by the completion of defrosting, the contact 18 is opened, defrosting operation is released, the defrosting of the heat exchanger at the outside of the chamber perfectly finishes, and defrosting returns to heating at the time when the efficiency of the heat exchanging returns, thus preventing the lowering of the efficiency of heating.
