Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the light emitting efficiency of light emission screen and the stability of performance, by using the fluorescent film of flat or plate shaped or the both particles.
CONSTITUTION: The fluorescent material used of the color receiving tubes is made into flat or plate shaped particles with special manufacturing method. Further, the particles 11 are placed on the aluminum substrate 12 by one to 3 layers with polished by mirror, constituting the light emission screen with fixing them. Thus, the screen 3 is less in scattering and absorption of light in the fluorescent film and has greater photo transmission, allowing to increase the efficiency of the screen 3 because of effective light pick up. On the other hand, since the substrate 12 is great in the light reflection and has directivity, the light output can further be increased. Since the adaptability between the fluorescent substance particles and the substrate 12 is great, the temperature rise of the fluorescent substance can be suppressed and the deterioration due to thermal damage can be reduced
