Abstract
PURPOSE: To keep the display condition high in display quality, by preventing effectively the reflection of external light, through the absorption of light radiated on the electrode by inserting a plural number of oxide film layers between the transparent lamination section and the back electrode.
CONSTITUTION: The transparent electrode 2 is parallelly arranged on the heat- proof glass substrate 1, the first dielectric substance layer 3 and ZnS light emitting layer 4 are laminated on it, and the second dielectric substance layer of two layer construction consisting of the Si3N4 film 5a and Al2O3 film 5b is laminated on the light emitting layer 4, and the display device is established by forming the back electrode 13 having photo reflection nature. In this case, a plural number of Al203-x films 11 are inserted between the dielectric substance layers 5a and 5b and the electrode 13. With the insertion of the Al2O3 film 11, the light incident in EL panel is absorbed on the film 11, then the reflection light reflected from the electrode 13 can remarkably be reduced.
