Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent electrolytic corrosion phenomenon and improve mechanical strength by forming a short-circuit ring at the opposite ends of an aluminum solder plated rotor conductor by diecasting aluminum.
CONSTITUTION: Short-circuit rings 3 are made integral with a rotor conductor by diecasting them, from aluminum after inserting a rotor conductor 1 hving been plated with aluminum 5 or silver into a slot 10 of a rotor 2. By forming the rotor in this way, it is possible to prevent the phenomenon of electrolytic corrosion of the rotor conductor and short-circuit rings and improve mechanical strength. In this methos, the rigidity can be further increased by forming a recess 12 in a projection 11 at each end of the rotor condcutor and similarly forming the integral short-circuit rings by aluminum diecasting
