Abstract

PURPOSE: To evaporate sufficient refrigerant even under a low load to be sucked into a compressor together with oil drops for collecting oil by opening a switching valve provided on a connecting pipe between the gas-phase part in a condenser and the bottom of an evaporator for a fixed time.
CONSTITUTION: The gas-phase part of a condenser 5 is connected with the bottom of an evaporator 1 by a connecting pipe 7 provided with an electromagnetic valve 12 on the way as a bypass. When a refirgerating load is reduced, the electromagnetic valve 12 is opened for a fixed time at the starting of a refrigerating machine or periodically, and then, high pressure vapor of refrigerant is conducted from the gas- phase part of the condenser 5 to the bottom of the evaporator 1 for boiling up refrigerant in the evaporator to bubble. Consequently, oil mist is given by evaporation as under a full load condition, and sucked into a compressor 3 to be collected by an oil collector
