Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize the preheating temperature of the air for combustion for the hot stove always at a constant temperature, by detecting the temperature of the preheated air for combustion entering into the hot stove for blast furnace and controlling the amount of the air entering into the air preheater. CONSTITUTION:The waste gas of high temperature from the hot stove 1 is released to the stack 5 through the intercepting valve 4 from the flue 3. Besides, in addition, the above waste gas is passed to the stack 5 passing through the air preheater 8 with the ducts 6 and 7. The air 13 for combustion in the hot stove 1 passes through the air preheater 8 with the ducts 10 and 9, and enters into the hot stove 1 after having been heated. At this time, the temperature of the air for combustion heated at the preheater 8 is measured with the temperature detector 18 and is compared with the set temperature of the temperature setter 20. In the case where the temperature of the preheated air is lower than the set temperature, the valve 15 is controlled in the direction for shutting with the operation of the combustion controller 19 and the valve driving gear 21. Accordingly, the amount of the air flowing through the air preheater 8 increases and the temperature of the preheated air 17 is stabilized always at the prescribed value, so that the amount of coke oven gas for combustion is saved and the state of operation of the furnace is stabilized.
