Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the pumping efficiency and prevent the occurrence of noisy sound by suitably determining the sizes and arrangements of the opening of a piston chamber and a communication hole which is communicated with suction and vomitting grooves so that the rising and falling portions of a pressure curved line may become smooth.
CONSTITUTION: The sizes and arrangements of communication holes 10W14 are set in such a manner that the total amount of effective cross-sectional areas of the flow paths 10aW14a which are formed by the respective interference with a communication hole 10 by which an opening 4 is communicated with a vomitting groove 7 and a communication hole 10 by which the hole 4 is communicated with the vomitting groove 7 or suction groove 6 of the opening 4 and the notches 4-1, 4-2 which joins the opening 4 changes along a predetermined curved line as the opening 4 of the piston chamber moves. By so doing, both the rise portion (AB) and the fall portion (CD) of the pressure curved line becomes smooth. As a consequence, it becomes possible to minimize the decrease of the capacity efficiency and obtain a fluid pump of a high efficiency and low noise
