Abstract
PURPOSE: To accomplish easy adjustment of the maximum water level and the pressure within a circulating loop by means of a pressure adjusting tank so provided in the circulating route of a solar heat collecting system as to change the temperature of gas therein.
CONSTITUTION: In a solar heat collecting system having a circulating rout comprising a heat collecting device 1, a circulating pump 2, a heat storage tank 4 and an air bleed valve 5, a pressure adjusting tank 6 is attached in the route at a location susceptible to the effect of ambient temperature and readily exposed to the sun beam. During the cold season, as the ambient temperature falls close to a temperature at which water in the pressure adjusting tank 6 freezes, the pressure in the tank 10 reduces. This allows the water in the heat collecting device 1 to flow into the tank 6 thereby preventing destruction of the heat collecting device 1 due to the freezing. On the other hand, as the ambient temperature rises, the water in the tnak 6 is pushed out whereby a closed circulating route is formed
