Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve electromagnetic efficiency, by causing intermittent sliding of a magnetically suspended and driven vehicle with the gap between normally conductive magnets and magnetic belts being kept small.
CONSTITUTION: Support sliding shoes 11 and slide members 13 are fixed respectively to normally conductive support magnets 10 fixed to underframe 4 and magnetic supports 12 fixed contiguously with track structure 7, in the manner that they face toward each other. Similarly, supporting lower slide shoes 14 and slide members 15 are fixed respectively to the underframe 4 and track structure 7, in the manner facing toward each other. Primary coil 16 and secondary coil 18 of linear motor are respectively provided wiht linear ary coil 18 of linear motor are respectively provided with linear motor gap keeping slide shoes 17 and slide members 19 contiguously with underframe 4 and track structure 7, in the manner that they face toward each other. If slide memers 9, 13, 15, 19 are provided with resiliency suited for distortion of themselves and vertical and lateral motion of underframe 4 caused when the vehicle is driven on the track, cahnge in magnetic attractive force can be averaged through repetition of contact and repulsion between slide members and slide shoes 6, 11, 14
