Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a heat recovering apparatus by which utillization of slag as resources and heat recovery can be attained simultaneously and economically by mixing molten slag granules with a refrigerant in a moving bed vessel and classifing the mixt. in a classifier tube by pneumatic elutriation after which heat is recovered from the refrigerant in cyclone type heat exchangers and from the slag granules in a moving bed heat exchanger.
