Abstract

PURPOSE: To let lead-in and lead-out of a tone arm to be safely operated with a simple constitution by providing a turnable inversion lever which is held in three stable positions to a turning lever which is driven by a drive cam.
CONSTITUTION: An inversion lever 25 which turns about a fulcrum axis 24 is mounted to the end part of a turning lever 22 which is turned about a fulcrum axis 21 by a drive cam 20. A cam plate 25b having three click grooves 26 thru 28 made about the fulcrum axis 24 as a center is formed to the inversion lever 25 and a roller 31 mounted to the end of the energizing plate turning about a fulcrum axis 29 is engaged by energizing of a spring 32, whereby the inversion lever 25 is stably held in the three turning positions by the click operation. On the other hand, an arm pin 38 is provided via arm 37 to a tone arm 36 turning about an axis 35 and is faced to the one side face of the inversion lever 25 turning the inversion lever 25. The cam part 25b of the inversion lever 25 abuts against a reset pin 40 immediate before the turning lever 22 reaches the lead-in position, causing the inversion lever 25 to reset to the original position.
