Abstract

PURPOSE: To make aperture scale to an equal sapcing and reduce the turning torque of automatic aperture by disposing a cam mechansim between the aperture scale member and aperture blade driving member and eliminating the spring energizing force acting upon the blade driving member during automatic aperture control operation.
CONSTITUTION: As a drive ring 1 turns, an aperture blade 2 is moved and aperture opening is adjusted. There is an interlocking pin 3 to the ring 1 and is connected to a lever 3a. A cam face 5a is formed on the inside face of the turnable cam ring 5 and a pinch fixed to the arc-form lever 12 pivotally fitted to the lens-barrel engages to this face. The pushing element 12b at the free end of the lever 12 engages with the interlocking pin 3 and the pin 4 is pushed to the cam face 5a by a spring 13. Since the manual control of the lens aperture is accomplished by way of the cam mechanism, the aperture scale may be formed to an equal spacing and in the automatic control it is directly applied to the aperture blade driving member without going through this cam mechansim but at this time the spring energizing force to the blade driving member is eliminated and therefore the torque for rotating may be considerably reduced.
