Abstract

PURPOSE:To make possible interchanges among various operations, while imprroving the operability and simplifying the construction, by providing a contact member which is to be brought into contact with a print substrate when a single operating shaft is turned and pushed. CONSTITUTION:When a knob made integral with an interchanging shaft 12 is turned, a contact member 18 is turned together so that a contact arm 26 is interchangeably brought into contact with the conductor of a print substrate 7, which printed with a preset pattern, thereby interchange the circuit. When the projection of the shaft 12 is come to alignment with the notch of the substrate 7 by the rotations of the shaft 12, this shaft is pushed into the substrate 7. Then, the contact member 18 is held under a stationary condition in contact with the substrate 7. As a result, various operations can be performed by the single operating shaft by connecting the conductor of the substrate 7 with a circuit which is operative to perform various desired functions such as those to stop the hour striking sound, to make a single sound, to strike the hour, to adjust to the time, or to make a series of sounds.
