Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate problem such as an overheat of a belt for driving auxiliaries such as generator or the like, insufficient charging of a battery or the like in an internal combustion engine having an electronic control fuel injection unit by detecting to warn the slip of the belt. CONSTITUTION:A signal from an AC generator 1 is shaped by a waveform shaper 2, and then applied to a counter 3 as first signal b. To the counter 3 is also applied a signal from an electronic control fuel injection unit 4 for producing an injection pulse at fuel injecting time through a frequency divider 4. When the counter 3 counts predetermined number of counts of the injection pulses, it produces second signal f, which is compared and calculated via a flip-flop 6, an integrator 7 and a comparator 8 whether its slip rate is within an allowable range or not. When the slip rate is over the allowable range, a warning lamp 10 indicates an alarm to thereby recognize the slip of the belt.
