Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a full color image free from color mackle to be reproduced by a single exposure, by using a photoreceptor prepared by laminating 2 specified photoconductive insulating layers on both the sides of a transparent conductive support.
CONSTITUTION: The surfaces of first photosensitive layer P1 and second photosensitive layer P2 of a photoreceptor are illuminated uniformly by red and blue lights insensible to surface photoconductive layers 3 and 5 but sensible to inner photoconductive layers 2 and 4 and each charged primarily with corona discharger 6 or 7. Next in the dark, the surface of layer P1 is charged secondarily with corona discharger 8 in a charge amount somewhat smaller than that of the primary charge and the surface of layer P2 with discharger 9 in a charge amount of about half of the primary charge.
