Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid concentration of the excessive current to a specified transistor by compensating the dispersion of each transistor's off-time via a simple means. CONSTITUTION:Resistances R1-Rn are inserted to each emitter side of parallel- connected transistors TRT1-Tn with a collective connection given to the bases, and also capacitors C1-Cn are connected between bases and emitters. Now if two transistors TRT1 and T2 under saturation are turned off in the state under which load current IL flows to these transistors in sharing state, the current of both transistors increases or decreases according to the difference of the off-time of them. Thus, a difference is caused between the both emitter potential due to the voltage drop caused at resistance R1 and R2, and the base current is supplied to the transistors which are turned off previously. As a result, the off-time is increased. In this way, the dispersion of the off-time is corrected for each transistor to be set to the maximum off-time, thus turning off the whole transistors.
