Abstract

PURPOSE: To identify the malfunction of a rotary machine by processing a signal in response to the vibrating direction, main vibrating frequency band and frequency band using a decision algorithm, calculating the component of revoling ratio and calculating the synchronization with revolving pulse.
CONSTITUTION: A signal is processed by a signal processor 7 in response to (1) main direction of occurred vibration, (2) main vibration frequency band, and (3) frequency band by analyzing the operation of the rotary machine, confirming it in experiments, and using a decision algorithm established on the basis of the results diagnosed in production field. Then, the component of revolving ratio is calculated by a revolving ratio analyzing circuit 9, and the synchronization with the revolving pulse is calculated by a synchronism detector 10. Thus, the malfunction of the rotary machine is identified.
