Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the starting and inching operation of an inverter by raising the output frequence and voltage set values of the inverter to gradually raise the output voltage via a cushion circuit and to thereafter raise the output frequency.
CONSTITUTION: An inverter is started at set frequency (or at maximum frequency) to lower the inverter frequency to a motor revolution speed by a frequency control operation. In case where the inverter is started at the set frequency as it is, an eddy current takes place. In order to prevent the eddy current, a cushion is inserted to the set voltage (set frequency) to gradually raise the voltage. That is, a switch Ry is so controlled as to set the ordinal gain of a frequency amplifier 2 to 1 during stoppage of the operation and to become normal gain upon starting of the inverter. A setting potentiometer 1 is always set to setting voltage regardless of the stoppage or starting.
