Abstract

CONSTITUTION: An inner surface of a cylinder cast in an aluminum alloy is cut by means of a turning or boring technique, and fine glass particles are blown against the inner surface by means of a glass blast, and thus, the inner surface is scarred in a concave shape and becomes rugged. On the other hand, a piston 9 is plated with hard chromium after having been turned. These two units 1 and 9 are mated together, and burning due to a lack of lubrication oil can thus be prevented.
