Abstract

PURPOSE: To treat a malodorous gas efficiently and safely by installing a washing unit for washing the gas with water, a heater for regulating the gas temp., an ozonizer for supplying ozone, and a reactor in which the gas mixed ozone is contracted to activated carbon packed.
CONSTITUTION: Gas 2 to be treated is introduced into washing unit 3 with blower 1 and countercurrently contacted to washing water 7 sprayed from nozzles 6 while being moved from the lower part of packing 4 to the upper part in unit 3.
