Abstract

The density of the oil content in opening part 9 is monitored at all times by precision oil content density meter 10 provided at the flange on the other end. By operating the inspection of the oil content in the sea water inside opening part 9 by means of the oil content density meter, it is possible to discover an oil leakage early and take the necessary measure. Further, even if oil is leaked from flexible hose 5, it is not diffused outside pipe proper 4. This insures a double- safety measure.
