Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure a highly effective communication between the transmitters and the receivers by transmitting intermittently the signals showing the types of the request transmission data and others from the transmitter/receiver on the road, and then the receiver mounted on the car receives and decodes those signals to transmit the replay. CONSTITUTION:Transmitter/receiver 3 and antenna 4 are mounted on car 2 running on vehicle's path 1, and road transmitter/receiver 6 and road antenna 7 connected each other via connection cable 5 are provided on path 1. Then the transmission/reception is carried out by sharting the same frequency between common transmitter/receiver 3 on the car and plural units of transmitter/receiver 6 on the path. Thus, transmitter/receiver 6 transmits intermittently the trigger signals containing the information of the types of the transmitter/receiver, the types of the request transmission data and others; while transmitter/receiver 3 receives and decodes these trigger signals to carry out the transmission/reception based on the information. In this way, a highly effective communication is possible between transmitter/receiver 6 and 3.
