Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of transmission by sending the polling signal to the next station in case no answer signal is sent from the slave station within a fixed time. CONSTITUTION:When polling request signal Ic is sent from processor 1, control part 6 examines signal 3b. And if signal 3b is low, signals 6a and 6b are delivered. Then processor 1 receives signal 6a to transmit polling signal 1a. Signal 1a is then sent to the 1st slave station via transmitter 2, transmission/reception switch 3 and antenna 4 each. In this case, processor 1 waits for the answer signal to be sent from the slave station for a fixed time. And in case no answer signal is received in a fixed time via antenna 4, switch 3 and receiver 5 each, processor 1 gives the polling to the next (2nd) slave station in the same transmitting sequence as that mentioned above. Thus the efficiency of transmission can be increased greatly.
